A mini stroke, also known as a transient ischemic attack (TIA), is a temporary blockage of blood flow to the brain. 1. Sudden Weakness or Numbness
Watch for sudden weakness or numbness, especially on one side of the body—face, arm, or leg. This may manifest as drooping on one side or difficulty moving limbs.

2. Trouble Speaking or Understanding Speech
Difficulty speaking clearly, slurred speech, or trouble understanding what others are saying are critical signs.

3. Sudden Vision Problems
Blurred vision or loss of vision in one or both eyes can indicate a mini stroke.

4. Dizziness or Loss of Balance
Sudden dizziness, loss of coordination, or trouble walking may occur.

5. Sudden Severe Headache
An unexplained, intense headache that comes on suddenly can be a warning sign.
