Take it to a veterans\u2019 organization<\/strong><br>Places like the <strong>American Legion<\/strong> or <strong>VFW<\/strong> collect old flags and retire them in official ceremonies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>2. Drop it off with Boy Scouts or Girl Scouts<\/strong><br>They regularly perform respectful flag retirement ceremonies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>3. Attend a community retirement event<\/strong><br>Many fire departments and civic groups accept worn flags.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>4.
